Hello everyone...
It's been a long long time since i last blogged. Been so so busy recently. Feel like dying but no car seems to want to bang me. Feel like falling sick but no MC to take and still have to work. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... This is so shitty.
My life now is up a little hill & i see greens and greens everyday. Half an hour to go up to my centre and i'm really in my own world.
Many thanks to all friends who have helped me along the way. Would have died without all your help. Esp to my buddies, thanks for helping me and lx with the cleaning and setting up of envt. REally Blessed to have all of you.
I hope things will really work out smoothly. Lx and i will continue to Jai you!!
REally missed all my friends whom i haven't been able to catch up with, miss my xiao mei cos now i've no time for her. So sorry.. I still love you. Anything do let me know. Will be there for u no matter how busy i am.
I miss my sleep too. I only sleep for 4 - 5 hours a day. Really hate my life now. Mel Mel is not happy at all.
But i'm still blessed. Met many nice people. Hopefully they'll stay. At least i'll be abit happier.
Busy busy.. 2 weddings in a row. 1st my cousin then Jane's. They'll have panda bear attending their wedding. hahaha..

Long time since i last blogged.. Been so busy lately but apparently i'm enjoying myself pretty much. =)
1 more week to go and i'm outta Raffles. Time really flies.. I'll miss all the colleagues there esp my RH gang. Will certainly miss our lame jokes, sat outings & dining together.
Worked 12 hours today. Went to work at 6.30am today & so coicindently that Ivan, Geraldine & me were actually on the same train but Geraldine was seated at another cabin. hahhaa.. Telepathy?? lolz
Qi must be thinking i'm crazy. 6.30am?? Haiz.. I'm such a blur queen. Took Ivan's card home by accident & he needs to work early as we're rushing 3 days' orders today thus i went to work so so early. But we had fun. hahhaa.. We even played a prank on Boss. hahhaa..
No work tmr as they're going for team building. hahhaa.. Hope they have fun. =)
However i'll still have to wake up early as i'm attending a seminar at Suntec. Hope that the speakers are interesting.
Going to the air show with KAren on Sunday. Hopefully there'll still be tickets left.

Dear buddies,
I'm alright. Sorry to have made u guys worried but dun worry, nothing happened to me. Just being emo. hahaha.. Guess at certain point of time in your life, you'll look back & reflect on the things you've done, the decisions u've made & just simply think of nothing and everything.
Do you guys ever encounter this feeling too??
Met up with LX today & had a good talk. Told her what i was feeling and that it was just a thought, dun really mean to leave the field la. hahaha.. But when i do, i will surely let u guys know. hahahaha..
HAving a mixture of anger, disapointment but mostly fustration that i can't really voice out. Haiz.. Is God really testing us?? Testing our patience?? Though i always say good things are worth the wait, however, the waiting is really hard.
Thank you Lx for your patience and encouragement. Actually I felt really bad.. Sorry to keep you waiting. Hopefully things will turn out well as you've said, God's plan for you. heehee.. Enjoy your blessed life while i Continue with my Sloggy life. *duh! life's not fair. bleh* lolx..
Actually my sloggy life isn't that bad too. hahaha.. I'm lucky in my own way. I'm now under the care of my new colleagues =) Thought can finally slim down (insider news frm Minqi b4 i joined was that they dun eat!!). But who knows.....
They are FEEDING me with lots of Food!! =(
Alicia often buys breakfast for me. Annie will buy snacks for me to eat once in a while when she went out. Desiree tried to feed me with bread. Ivan & Geraldine eats lunch with me & we even went to Marina Square for 2 hours lunch on Sat & went Raffles City foodcourt to eat lunch today. (I know Qi Qi won't believe this. They are EATING!! hahaa..)
They are really nice people but they makes things real awkward between me and the gals. They will buy food for me and not for them, etc.. Haiz.. I felt so bad to be in between all these. Once, a supplier came & gave diaries to us but there was only 1extra left after distributing to the perm staff. They purposely exclaimed loudly that they are giving it to me. I almost "peng" from my chair. Though it's only a diary but the gals must have felt unhappy over it. Told Annie that i dun feel comfortable when they does that, but they feel it's alright. haiz.. Guess the gals must have hated me. =(

Long time since i last blogged.. Too lazy & tired to blog.. Heehee..
My new job is pretty much the same & the colleagues there treat me pretty well. But i still miss having Minqi & Jade around. Don't have much topics to talk to the 3 gals and now i eat lunch with my Raffles Hotel gang which is Geraldine & Ivan. And Minqi, can u believe it, Ivan is still teasing me abt the Duck rice!! hahaha.. Think he still haven't got over it and i was teasing him, whenever he eats duck rice in the future, he'll remember us. hahahha..
Boss treated us dinner @ Swiss Merchant Court. Think i've been there before with Lx & gang. Chef Louis Tay (the one who was on tv with Sam Leong) is the executive chef there and he chatted & entertained us. He passed us his name card and i told him i've no name card to give him. hahahaa.. But he's still very nice, told me never mind can email him. hahaha.. Quite a nice person as he didn't put on any airs. How nice it would be, if all chefs are like that.....
Ever since i worked there, i began to develop a phobia for chef. My colleagues would tell me scary stories of chefs throwing tempers at them & i've seen for myself how nasty some can be. The word "Chef" now makes me think of nasty, hot-tempered, unreasonble... Oh no... So scary... I never use to think of Chef in this light before. I used to think that if my bf is a chef, how wonderful it'll be. He can cook very nice things for me to eat... But after this job, i'm afraid that my perecption of chefs has changed dramatically.
I'm sure there will be some good tempered ones and hopefully all chefs can be like them, then we won't have so much problems. GUess it's not easy to tame ur temper when u are behind the hot wok everyday.
Was feeling quite upset recently & was thinking abt things like changing job (obviously not possible & obviously not switching to my current job). Was just wondering what it's like being in another field as u know how bad ECH field is.
We put in our heart & soul to our job, we have to do shitty things (as in real shit too), our work is never ending and yet our pay is so miserable, our own friends look down on our job and it makes things worst if we get nasty parents.
I began to question myself is it worth it to be hanging on in this field while obviously no one recognises our efforts and respect our occupation. It's no wonder why ECH teachers get burnt out in this field so fast and how some good teachers have left the field. Haiz.. A real vicious cycle which i feel so helpless towards it.
Looking at my job now, though the pay is also peanuts but i dun have to bring any work back and when i tell people i'm working in a purchasing dept for RH, people go "Ooh and Ahh" over it as they thought hotel line is much better. Almost same pay but diff amt of work and more relaxing. No wonder ECH turnover rate is so high. Haiz...
Just when i'm feeling down, My hong hong msged me to wish me happy new year. Taught him & his bro 3 years ago and i Really miss him and quan quan. Time really flies... He's now in Pri 3 and he was telling me that he's happy in school. He also send me a picture msg of a monkey with a big grin saying "smile ok". His msg really brought a smile to my face and also make me realize one thing. The reason as to why i am still hanging on to this field though it look so bleak ~ the Passion for children
No matter how dejected or lousy i am feeling, a smile or a hug from my children never fails to life my sprits up again. It's this feeling that i'm missing now. Though other field may be more glamourous than ECH but they won't be able to experience this feeling that we as ECH educators will feel.
I miss my little darlings... and i'm so afraid that i'll lose this feeling once i'm in my new position. The simple joy in interacting with them.. Will i?? I look at how my buddies are feeling now, i can't help but wonder. Will i be so caught up with paperworks & admin stuff that i'll miss having fun with the children??

Lx invited us to her Xmas party at Jubilee and there were Soooo many ppl (mostly her relatives and some staff from their buffet company).
Of course there was a fabulous spread of food to feed us (the hungry monsters). lolx.. I even got to witness the process of how chef (Uncle Ka ho) roast a pig. =( POor friend... It's a long process and poor Uncle Ka ho was sweating away but the end result...... A very delicious and succulent roasted pork with skin so crunchy that u can hear it crunching while u chew it inside ur mouth. I ate 1 cos Lx's mum kept asking me to try. It was very good actually. Thank u Lx for wrapping it up with vegetables and some kimchi for me so i couldn't taste the porky smell. =)
Were very busy BBQing and poor uncle kai seng had to join in to help us as most of our food were Chao Ta (burnt) initially and nobody wants our "chao ta" food. hahaha...
Played Nintendo Wii with one of her cousin. We played tennis and i beat him. hahaha.. We played bowling and boxing too and we were sweating away by the 4th game. Wonder if that can help to lose weight or not.. It's real fun and if at the same time can "Jian Fei", i dun mind buying one. hahaha... We decided to play tennis again cos we were trying to figure how to to score and he found out a way to serve super fast and i lost the game to him and even got reprimanded by Kai Yuen cos i caused her to downgrade a level. But anyway, i won it back again at the next match. hahaha.. cos that guy taught me how to serve quickly. So kind of him =) hahaha..
There was a gift exchange which caused a quite a choas as everyone started moving around the house passing presents. Sihui, buddy and i gave them an Epson printer(thank u buddy for carrying it there) and 2 boxes of Royce chocolates.
I gave buddy a pinky hp pouch, a box of Royce Champagne chocs for sihui, but she forgot to bring it home =(, 2 books for Lx's mum, a purple pen with case for LX and a box of Royce Champange Chocolates for LX's family.
Hope they'll like the presents i bought. =)
I received quite alot of gifts too!
Aunty Mei gave me a bottle of perfume and a small pouch.
Kai Yuen gave me a Jap fabric case and lip brushes.
Buddy gave me a very nice jewellery hanger stand from Precious thots, a heart shaped necklace and a black mini toon membership card. =)
Lx gave me a pinkish heart shaped necklace from Chomel. ;)
On top of all these, i also received presents from my current company for 1 week.
My big boss gave me a handwritten card with some candies and a fruit cake.
My boss gave me a shower gel and pink bath scrub (thank u minqi for changing the pink scrub with me) from Bodyshop
Annie gave me a Melody key case and a Hello Kitty pouch (am i so easily seen thru by others?? Wonder how she knows what i like in such a short period of time)
2 of my colleagues gave chocolates.
Minqi bought me a pinky hp pouch and a Xmas "welfare pack". heehee.. =)
I love my presents!! Except the perfume. Not really my type of smell. Dunno what to do with it now. haiz... But anyway, it's the thoughts that counts.
I've had a very Merry Christmas. Sad that it's over cos it's back to work time,
How i wish it can be Christmas everyday....
